“Truth is concrete” is a 24-hour, 7-day marathon camp run during the first week of the annual Steirischer Herbst Festival held each autumn in the Austrian state of Steirmark as a comprehensive festival of cutting-edge arts. At the camp, around 150 artists, activists, students and theorists lecture, perform, play, produce, discuss, collect artistic strategies in politics and political strategies in art continuously over the seven days. There is a full grant program additionally inviting 100 students and young professionals from all over the world as participants. The selected 100 will receive airfare, room and board and the right to participate in all the “Truth is Concrete” events.
