19th OMS Drama Prize awarded to Mari Inada (fukuheicode) for Ryucho no Ne
 
The 19th OMS Drama Prize, an award sponsored by the Osaka Gas company to recognize playwrights active in the Kansai region of Japan held its awards ceremony at the Osaka Dawn Center on Dec. 14, 2012. The Grand Prix was awarded to Mari Inada (fukuheicode) for her play Ryucho no Ne and the honorable mention winner was Atsushi Tsuchihashi A-kyu MissingLink) for his play Gentei Kaijo, Ima ha Nanimo Katarenai.
There were 49 applicants for the contest this time, and the seven finalists can be seen on the official website.
Both playwrights are former honorable mention prize winners, with Inaba awarded in 2011 for Kofukuron and Tsuchihashi in 2009 for Urayama no Inu ni demo Kuwarero!
