Collaboration Mourning NJ: Montclair 2006.6.1 2007.3.31 Inta, Inc. (Eiko & Koma) Dance: Eiko and Koma will collaborate with pianist Margaret Leng Tan to create an evening-length work, Mourning, that will examine in theatrical terms their evolving thoughts on the topic of death.
Collaboration Taiko/Bharatanatyam Collaboration MN: Minneapolis 2006.9.1 2007.3.31 Ragamala Music and Dance Theater Music: Ragamala Music and Dance Theater and Wadaiko Ensemble Tokara will collaborate on a new work inspired by the complex percussion, driving athleticism, visceral joy and powerful grace inherent in Japanese Taiko and Bharatanatyam, an ancient classical dance form from southern India.

AKA GOH PRODUCTIONS Dance: Inspired by a Japanese silent classic, New York-based choreographer Yoshiko Chuma will collaborate with artists from Japan, the United States and Manipur to create a new work that deals with the issues of cultural isolation, employing the historical Japanese Benshi performance.
