+Tokyo Performing Arts Market 2005/International Showcases 2005
Now in its tenth year, the Tokyo Performing Arts Market 2005 will be held at the Tokyo International Forum from Sept. 12 to 15. This year’s market will have a special focus on music (we plan to feature details in the August edition of this site). The full schedule will include booth presentations, seminars, showcase, TPAM fringe, etc. By providing a venue for the exchange of information between the gathered domestic and international presenters, theater representatives and festival representatives, this market aims to improve the domestic market infrastructure and involve Japanese performing arts in an international market.
The Japan Foundation has participated as a sponsoring organization in the Tokyo Performing Arts Market from its first holding and has continued to organize various types of symposiums and seminars and invite representatives of the performing arts to participate from overseas.
