Performing Arts Japan for North America (PAJ North America) 2010 – 2011 grant program is open to call for applications (until Nov. 2, 2009)
 Performing Arts Japan for North America (PAJ North America) program is designed to provide financial assistance for nonprofit organizations including festivals and presenters based in North America that aim to introduce outstanding Japanese performing arts to local audiences.
 Applications are now being accepted for 2010-2011 grants under this program (for the period from Jul. 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011). The secretariat office for these applications is the Japan Foundation, New York. Information about the application guidelines and the application forms can be downloaded from the website as below.

Program Objectives:
(1) To increase access to Japanese performing arts in the U.S. and Canada, especially outside major metropolitan areas such as New York and Los Angeles.
(2) To promote understanding of Japanese performing arts by providing educational programs for artists and audiences in each touring location apart from public performances.
(3) To support collaborative projects between American and Japanese performing artists.

U.S.A (including Canada as touring destination)
